Ball Joint Linkages

We released two new styles of ball joint linkages: a staked ball joint and a quick connect/disconnect ball joint.

In the widely used staked ball joint, the housing is swaged around the ball for a metal-to-metal ball joint that doesn't allow excessive play and provides increased pullout strength. it's staked design ball joints include a rubber grommet or boot that acts as a highly effective seal against debris. Commonly used in sway bar end links, throttle and shifter linkages and various other linkages.

The quick connect/disconnect ball joint assembly, also known as a quick release ball joint, is ideal for applications requiring rapid assembly and disassembly of the ball joint. With a stainless steel spring, the quick-disconnect feature also results in ease of maintenance. It's designed for low force mechanical linkages, including carburetor linkages or fuel injection applications.

Both ball joints are manufactured from carbon steel and are protective coated for corrosion resistance. Right and left hand threads are available for use in various OEM and aftermarket applications, including motorsports, lawn and garden, agricultural and construction equipment and many other industrial applications.
