The SAK-B Bronze Lined Series Rod Ends are 2-piece economy male joints which have 2 components; the ball and the body. The ball is inserted into the body and the bronze liner is swaged around the ball to lock it in then loosened to allow it to move. The bronze liner allows for a smooth rotation of the hardened steel ball. These joints are typically used for applications which do not require very tight tolerances or where high strength rod ends are not required.

Carbon Steel with Bronze liner.

SAK-B - Economy Series range features a self-lubraicting bronze liner around the ball. The precision ground chrome plated ball is inserted into position and then the body has been swaged around the ball to hold it in place. The body is treated for corrosion resistance.
